Why did I choose this career?

As a child I had a lot of love for animals and I wanted to be a veterinarian, I wanted to help all the animals. Currently, I feel the same but another future awaited me. 

On the other hand, I was always the typical good girl to draw. At that time I thought that in the future I could be a draftsman or a painter. In my head it was a very good idea.

In the secundary school, I realized that I really liked nature and photografy. I started learning how to use a camera in manual mode. It was very difficult, but I mastered it. I liked it so much that I considered studying that career, but I wasn't sure, because it has very little field of work.

When it came time to choose, I wasn't sure of anything, until I go to know the forestry engineering, I didn't know about that, but it caught my attention. I searched for information and I spoke with forest engineers. They infected me with their love for that career, and I decided.

The most difficult part has been getting used to college grades and teamwork that doesn't go as expected. But here I am, very happy with my choice.

I'm not sure what I want to work on. I would like to have a job where I can spend a lot of time in the forest. Sometimes I think I would like to work in politics, ensuring environmental well being. And other times I just want to work in a field taking care of plants. 🌻
